I am a data science manager & machine learning specialist with The Stepstone Group. My work focuses on the design and deployment of user-facing ML solutions, including recommendation systems, semantic search and generative AI tools. I specialise in experimentation and evaluation for applied ML.
I previously worked at the BBC building recommendation systems for media products, at University of California, Berkeley developing novel machine learning models for cognitive neuroscience research, and at the University of Oxford studying the neural underpinnings of 3D vision. I completed my PhD at University College London studying the plastic reorganisation of the human brain under abnormal visual inputs.
